I mustache you a question!

What do you think of these cuties?
Made from a old pair of heels that the pattern on them had gotten wrecked and a roll of mustache ducktape. Probably more suited for mustache movember,  but I think I'll be wearing them out this summer!
They were super easy to put together and now with duck tape offering so many cool patterns its a great way to spice up your shoes!
Happy crafting!

Last day before the big 20

Its my birthday tomorrow and I work,  so all my celebrating will be tonight and Saturday.  Though from the sounds of it my co-workers may be getting me a cake. So I figured lets start celebrating!
This little pumpkin looking drink is the Pumpkin King pudding shot. It consists of butterscotch pudding,  rum and whip cream. I actually didn't put as much rum in as called for. I ended up dumping 3 shots into the pudding mix when the recipe called for 1 shot to every 2 spoonfuls.  Mine seem a little strong but that could just be me. I like my liquor to complement the drink or dish.
If you're wanting to try this for yourself youtube pumpkin king pudding shot.

Tardis Centerpeice

It the week long  count down to my birthday and I'm beginning to wrap up all my little projects.
This one was a Tardis Centrepeice for my cakes and drinks.

This is is a mid way point photo where my cat had to borrow it to go on a adventure.

It was created out of two cardboard boxes. One for the body of the tardis and one for the top. I then covered everything in paper and painted it royal tardis blue. The windows are made out of white construction paper and the police box sign was printed off, while the panels were simply drawn in. A fake tealight was drawn on and flickers appropriately when placed ontop of the Tardis.

For a hour long project it turned out fairly well.

Harry Potter Shoes

Last night I was in possession of a Harry Potter Sticker Book ($2 at local dollarstore), a pair of sadly plain heels, and mod podge... so what did I do?

I made these babies...

At the time these were taken, they still needed some sealer on them (mod podge is sadly not waterproof... at least not the stuff I have)

Compared to my Batman themed shoes Here, the stickers made it much easier to work with then the paper. I placed the base/edge stickers on first then covered everything in a layer of Podge. Once that was dry I went on to use my favourite stickers to create the rest of the design. Once I was happy with that it got two coats of Podge and once that sets for 24 hours a sealer will be following ontop of it.
